Biography
Akram Ahmed brings a portfolio of expertise in business, and technical know-how with emphasis on solving business problems using information technology solutions. He spent over 20 years in IT technical and managerial roles in the corporate environment which included working in the IT department of Fortune-75. Earlier in his career, Akram was involved in several e-commerce initiatives as a software developer. His strategic, and managerial involvement included lead roles in implementing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and data warehousing systems. . As a firm believer in the presence of IT practitioners in the classroom, Akram continues to provide IT know-how as an independent consultant. Currently, he provides consulting support to on-line software start-up in all phases of software product development from requirements and specifications to go-to-market.
