Biography

Haijing received her Ph.D. in Information Systems Management, Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), 2012. Her dissertation received the William W. Cooper Doctoral Dissertation Award at CMU, entitled, Social Influence on Information Technology Adoption and Sustained Use in Healthcare: A Hierarchical Bayesian Learning Method Analysis. Haijing was awarded 2020 Grace Hopper Celebration (GHC) Faculty Scholarship. Haijing is an Associate at Asia Center, Harvard University (2014 - 2019; 2021 - present), a visiting scholar at the Media Lab, MIT (2018 - 2019), a steering committee member of Boston CHI, ACM (2016 - present), the elected president  of SIG Health, AIS (2024 - present ), and a founding associate editor of npj Health Systems.
