Biography

Tanseli Savaser’s fields of specialization are financial economics, corporate finance and international finance. Her research examines corporate governance issues, focusing on the relationship between managerial incentives and risk taking. She is also interested in analyzing the impact of the information environment and the trading conditions on investor behavior in financial markets. Prior to joining Bentley, she taught at various institutions including Vassar College, Bilkent University and Williams College. In addition, she was a visiting scholar at the University of Zurich and worked as a research associate at Moody’s Investors Services. She has published her work in leading finance and economics journals, including the Review of Finance, Journal of Banking & Finance, Journal of Corporate Finance and the AEJ: Economic Policy.
