Abstract

Although trans* individuals have recently gained more visibility and rights in recent years, they remain marginalized and subjected to lack of acceptance, discrimination, and innumerable challenges in life and at work. This study explored how some trans*-specific job demands and resources influenced engagement, strain, and several outcome variables. The full path diagram reveals several notable relationships, namely the strong influence of resource variables on engagement and strain. The latent path diagram revealed no significant relationships between demands and resources on engagement and strain. Implications are discussed.
