Abstract
This Emmy award winning documentary chronicles the life and work of world-renowned sculptor David Hostetler. Told through the creation of Hostetler's latest sculpture–hewn from a tree Hostetler planted himself nearly 50 years ago–the work becomes a metaphor for a life well-lived and the nature of the creative process.
