Abstract
Innovation and R&D: Innovation, the continual evolution towards both the new and the improved, is a strategic imperative for any organization. To provide guidance to organizations about how to achieve effective and efficient innovation it is necessary to understand innovation as a purpose, a process, as well as an outcome.
