Review of Separation of Frank Lambert, Church and State: Founding Principle of Religious Liberty

Research output: Contribution to journalReview article

Abstract

Separation of Church and State draws from a series of lectures given by Frank Lambert at Mercer University in 2012, as well as his prodigious scholarly production of the last two decades. During that time, Lambert has significantly revised our understanding of both American evangelicalism and the historical relationship between church and state. Although all of his work has appealed to a broad audience, as well as a scholarly one, this volume is explicitly designed for public effect.
