Abstract

Analysis of commentary by production designers, Mark Worthington of WandaVision and Michael Wylie of Pushing Daisies who adopt different approaches to symbolic set design. Contrasts to symbolic fixed-set elements in classic sitcom production design that has been previously ignored as a mundane visual aesthetic.
