Abstract

Understanding the problems that can arise from applying the concept of civic democracy to the corporate world is essential to achieving the optimal corporate governance that shareholder democracy advocates hope to create. In this chapter, we explore the concept of shareholder democracy from two perspectives, as a concept and in practice.
