Abstract
This article entry analyzes the contributions and role of Sino-Caribbean subjects in the two major forms of cultural expression that emerged out of the Caribbean, Reggae Music and Carnival. Part "recovery scholarship" and cultural analysis, this article analyzes several texts in the service of producing a diachronic snapshot of the interventions Sino Caribbean subjects have made into narratives of nation making in the Caribbean.
