Abstract
The film looks beyond the biomedical model of treatment for children with cancer examining the use of narrative practices in treatment in ways that improve patients overall quality of life. The filmmakers worked in partnership with M. D. Anderson Medical Center, University of Texas in Houston, as well as the American Cancer Society and The Ohio University Scripps College of Communication.
