Abstract
This paper is based on a qualitative study of the National Association for the Reform of Marijuana Laws, in which we explore the processes by which ambiguous organizational identities are sustained over time. My coauthors are Matthew Lyle (U Colorado - Colorado Springs), who is my former doctoral stud3nt, and Diego Coraiola (University of Alberta). This paper recently received a second-round revise-and-resubmit invitation.
